Firstly there’s the speculation surrounding Newcastle United star Moussa Sissoko, who apparently has his representatives lodged in talks with Arsenal over a move that would see him trade St. James’ Park for the Emirate Stadium.
It’s said that he’s wanted by Paris Saint-Germain as well however, whose spending power could be a decisive factor if it comes down to a two-horse race, and so the situation will have to be watched carefully.

Wenger is said to be mulling over the prospect of making a big-money offer to beat Manchester United to Argentina star Nicolas Otamendi, with the Valencia defender seemingly ticking the boxed when it comes to bolstering the 65-year-old’s back-line.
Wenger has been forced to tinker with his squad thanks to injuries and the like, and Otamendi would be an astute, experienced, purchase.

Arsenal are also understood to be closing in on a deal for Polish youngster Krystian Bielik, who was having a medical at the training ground last week.
And following the Gunners victory over Manchester City yesterday Aaron Ramsey insists they can still challenge for the title.
He said: “We have to take every game as it comes. There is still a long way to go in this league.
“Many teams are taking points off each other. We will just have to concentrate on our own game and hopefully go on a big run and see where that takes us at the end.
“We have got a lot to play for this year so hopefully now we can build on this performance and that will give us even more confidence going into the business end of the season.”
