Negotiations between the two clubs were already going well in the course of the previous week and an agreement is now almost at hand. The Argentine midfielder has a personal agreement that should be reached soon and lead to a high profile transfer to South Florida.
The 30-year-old De Paul played a central role in Lionel Scaloni midfield since winning the World Cup for Argentina.
